Everyone loves Christmas, but who makes it so special? I would say it's usually mom. She is the one who spends endless hours creating the perfect gifts and making sure everything is just right so that all will be happy.
My mom did that in our home. (That's her rocking my sweet grandbaby!)

We always had new pajamas, most often hand sewn, waiting for us on Christmas Eve. I know (from my own experience in doing this) that they were often frantically finished well after midnight on the eve of Christmas Eve. But they were finished. And they were loved!
The tree was perfect, the gifts were perfect, and the treats were perfect. But mostly the memories were (and are) perfect!

As soon as I saw this quilt pattern, I knew that I needed to make it for my mom. She loves Christmas! Her birthday is December 8th so it was the perfect gift--which is not often easy to find for her! It reminded me of my grandpas, both had old red pickup trucks (one painted white with a paint brush! but that's another story!).
Making this for my mom and thinking of her as I did, truly made my Christmas season. I was so excited about it that I almost blew it and told her so many times! Of course she loved it (mom's always love anything you make!) and that made it all worth while!
Thanks mom for the wonderful memories--and I'm looking forward to many memories yet to be created!
Thanks for stopping by the Front Porch and letting me share my Christmas Memories with you! Come back soon!

PS: As you might have noticed, I couldn't resist making a mini version for the Front Porch!
